Last night was a pretty good night for the most part. I started off by heading out to NoHo to visit one of the homies MDK. He and I have worked together before on a record called "Rollin Deep" which was released on one of his many projects from last year. It had been a minute since we kicked it and I had a shitload of new beats that I have in mind for collaborative efforts as well as solo material for him. He just got back a couple weeks ago from being the supporting act on the LAX World Tour stops in Europe with The Game and the rest of the BWS camp. Right when I got there there were these 2 wannabe ese's standing around on the block just bullshittin and they were definitely staring hard. . . come on man...IN THE ARTS DISTRICT??!? lol . . .motherfuckers need to go to school or something. . . .ANYWAY. . .I took a beat cd of 11 joints that I figured would go right with the direction he's going in right now, and it looks like there will definitely be a couple of selections made this week. Hopefully we can get in the lab by this weekend and knock those out. It was while I was there that I got a msg on AIM from an old friend telling me how badly her boyfriend had beaten her up the night before. Its a fucked up story. Her crib is on my way home from NoHo so I figured I'd drop by and have a word with her. Any dude that puts his hand on a female this way needs to be dealt with. Fuck that.
