Project update. . .

Everything is looking good right now. It's thanksgiving week, and I'm right on schedule with the process. As I type this right now I'm listening to the album (beats, I mean) and its sounding really good. The process isn't even half way complete and I'm confident that there are already some gems in the works. I've been doing all the records at the crib and then as soon as this pre-production process is a wrap we'll get together and go over whats been done in the last 8 weeks or so and then begin the transition back into the studio to make changes and lay vocals. Some of the ideas I have for reference hooks are pretty cool, it's just a matter of finding the right voice to deliver on the final records which usually isn't an issue. Alot of the records are bounced out of the consoles now and ready for changes and vocals, but first (and most importantly) I need to have a bass session sometime this week so they are full from top to bottom. The bass process is always fun because alot of times new ideas come while writing bass sections that could breathe new life into a track and just give it that little bit of extra kick. In my past experiences, the bass process has birthed some ideas that change a record and take it in an entirely new "bouncy" direction. Some of the records already have that bounce, so I'm gonna have to keep a keen eye on how I do this. . . I dont want to end up re-writing anything like I've done in the past lol

Heres a couple BB flicks of what the album looks like right now...And when Rome and I get together to talk about progress. . . sushi is a must.

All is good!

BE EASY!
