Mr.Jackson, Rest in Power

Yesterday music lost a talent parallel to that of none other. In a career span that is pretty much unheard of in today's market Michael Jackson spent 45 of his 50 years alive perfecting his craft all the while consistently making hit records, literally hit after hit. His influence on pop culture all across the globe was greater then any other artist before him, and continues to do so even years after any release of music. It's all setting in now, and I'm coming to realize that we have all witnessed history. Not since JFK and Elvis Presley has a celebrity taken the world to a simultaneous mourning state at their death. People forget that MJ was also an accomplished producer. He had the SHARPEST snares in the industry during his peek of success in the mid 80-s. The story of an influential performer, songwriter, producer, humanitarian, and overall success story has come to an end. Never in my life have I seen the death of one single person bring the media to a halt. Never again in my lifetime will I ever see a star of such magnitude take the spotlight.
