3 Years ago today Hip Hop lost not only a prominent emcee, but arguably the best hypeman in the industry through the late 90's and early 2000's, Proof of D12.

With this new Eminem album about to run its course, needeless to say- its going to be quite strange seeing Em make his rounds on tv and radio without Proof at his side.

I never had the opportunity to meet Proof, as I was still breaking into the scene and finding my lane at the time that he was constantly working with the people who are now in my inner circle. Louie always talked about scooping him up and showing him around LA and the Valley while he was here tracking what would be his first and only solo album "Searching for Jerry Garcia" at Segals crib in Northridge.
