Birthday:Part 1

So much went down this weekend. . . it was a very good one, for sure. I started off Friday afternoon with my good friend Sandra and her younger sister for drinks and lunch. 2 dollar margaritas and fish tacos got me right. That all happened via coincidence too, because had I not gone over to BTS Studios in the morning, I definitely wouldn't have run into her sister who was fairly responsible for making the lunch thing happen in the first place. I know what you're thinking. . . my birthday was Saturday. . . but we started it on Friday morning lol. . .

Fast forward some. . . . After the meal, I got home and knocked out. Those margaritas were no joke! Set me straight into sleep mode, until I got word that the plan for the evening was all set and I needed to be ready to roll by 11 pm. Headed over to Segal's crib, he hooked up some really crazy good chicken vegetable soup. It was perfect. Shoutouts to Segal. . .the mixmaster/chef lol We headed out to the studio around 11:30, and that was right about when the calls and texts started coming in. We all spent the entire night there at Tiny's, and then afterhours up at the studio. Lately, "Afterhours" is the new "Regular hours" lol. . . It seems like the 11pm-2am set of time is really like the warmup, and the actual party happens between 2 and 7am. Our people started going upstairs to the studio at about 1, and I made it up there just after 2 o clock I think. When I got up there it was like walking into a club! LOL. . . People EVERYWHERE. The lounge was jumpin, Louie was "busy" in studio B (LOL) ....and then there was studio A. . . I walk in the room and see the walls lined with females, and Segal at the boards working. Apprently theres a session going on. He's bouncing out tv tracks for Raz B, former member of B2K. Raz was penned in to perform Saturday night at Hot Import Nights in Anaheim, and then again in NoHo at Blue Moon so he needed tv tracks of the new records he and Segal had been working on. What a better time to come in and bounce new dance records then an afterhours party,right? hahaha. . .
Another funny coincidence- one of the girls that Raz brought up with him from the club was actually some chick I knew from Junior High. How crazy is that? U dont see someone for about 10 years, and then you run into them being all groupied up in the lab. hahaha.. . .good times? lol

Yvette came out to save me at around 3am. I was passed out on the roof when she got there. . . I've been telling this story all weekend about how I was throwing up from the roof 7 floors up straight onto Hollywood blvd hahaha . . . Good thing she got there when she did, cuz I was freezing!! From that point on, its all really a blur. I remember waking up on the floor of the main tracking room, stumbling down Hollywood to Ivar, getting in the car. . .and then waking up the next morning in my bed. amazing. lol

I found out the next morning that a friend of mine (whom I haven't seen or spoken to in a couple of months) was across the street at Cinespace the entire time. . . It would have been really nice to link up. . . .who knows. . . maybe sometime it'll actually happen!!! If you're reading this. . .(which I highly doubt) then you know who you are. shit. . .

ANYWAY. . . . shouts to Segal, Louie Fiasco, Roach, Dave, Raz B. . .the whole team at Kali Coast. . . we did it BIGG.
